UPDATE: NICOLE KIDMAN ALRIGHT AFTER CAR ACCCIDENT
Nicole Kidman was examined and released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after being involved in an on-set accident while filming her latest film, The Invasion, her publicist confirmed.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Kidman was taken to a hospital to be checked for injuries after a car chase scene went bad. A stunt driver towing the car lost control while turning a corner on slick pavement. The street had been wet down with water before the scene. The Jaguar being towed crashed into a pole and hit a garbage can.
The incident occurred shortly before 12:25 a.m. in downtown Los Angeles. An ambulance was sent to the scene, but not needed.
