LOHAN LEAVES REHAB FOR LUNCH, WORK
Despite the fact that she checked into rehab on Jan. 17, Lindsay Lohan is expected to return to work Friday on her upcoming film, I Know Who Killed Me. And to celebrate, Lindsay went out to lunch with two girlfriends at West Hollywood's popular Newsroom Café on Thursday. "She usually orders the buffalo wings but was very adamant about eating something healthy," a source tells Star. The picky eater settled on the Tandoori Chicken salad with tomatoes, spinach and cashews.
"Lindsay comes here all the time, but I was surprised to see her because I thought she was in rehab," the source said. Lindsay tried to disguise herself by wearing a baseball cap and oversized sunglasses, but it didn't do the trick considering she sat on the outdoor patio where everyone could see her.
Rather than talk with her friends, the Bobby star spent most of the time text-messaging and stepping outside from the health-conscious restaurant to smoke cigarettes. "She seemed to have a lot of nervous energy, and couldn't sit still for very long."
Yikes! Well, at least Lindsay is smart enough to stay away from caffeine. "Before she left, Lindsay ordered a decaf latte to go with extra whipped cream."
