SUNDANCE FILM FESTIVAL WINNERS

January 29, 2007

Mexican cinematography ruled Sundance for the second year in a row. Like last year, the story of a Mexican immigrant won the Sundance Film Festival's grand jury prize for best American drama. This year's top platano went to Padre Nuestro. The audience award for favorite US drama was awarded to Grace is Gone, starring John Cusack, and the grand jury award in the US documentary competition went to Manda Bala (Send a Bullet) by Jason Kohn.
