ANGELINA'S MOTHER'S DEATHBED WISH: MARRY BRAD!
Angelina Jolie was by her beloved mother Marcheline Bertrand's side at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Jan. 27, as the former actress faced the final hours of her seven-year battle with ovarian cancer.
Joining Angelina were Brad Pitt — with whom she'd jetted to L.A. from their New Orleans home after learning of the sudden downturn in Marcheline's condition — and Angelina's brother and close confidant, actor James Haven.
Star can reveal exclusively that before succumbing to her illness, Marcheline, who was 56, shared tender last moments with each of them.
"She spent the most time with Angelina — she told Angelina that her dying wish was for her to marry Brad," says the source. "Marcheline adored Brad and believed he was an angel sent into their lives to take care of Angie."
So now, adds the source, despite Angelina publicly vowing in the past that she and Brad would not marry, "there is no way Angelina's going to let her mom down."
