When Will Jim and Jenny Tie The Knot? Jim Says "Never!"
Though it is obvious that Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy are crazy about each other, Jim tells Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson that the two will "never" get married! Why? Carrey explains that not getting married is one of the keys to making their relationship work.
Carrey told Robinson how the couple keeps their relationship successful. Carrey says that past failed relationships play a big role in how he keeps his current one working. When Robinson asked if their relationship would have worked years ago, Carrey replied "No, not at all. I went through a lot of relationships that I believe were meant to define what I don't want in another person and in myself, and it refocused me on what I do want."
Though rumors surfaced last year that the two were secretly engaged, Carrey tells Access Hollywood that "we're never getting married, but we're never getting divorced, which is fantastic."
What does Carrey think about getting McCarthy a ring to show his love and dedication to her? "I bought her a Chloe purse. Isn't that good enough? For God's sake."
Carrey's new thriller, The Number 23, is scheduled to open in theatres on February 23.
