Miss USA on Broadway?
The Post reports that the former-badgirl beauty queen Miss USA's Tara Conner
has been secretly rehearsing for the role of Roxie Hart in "Chicago."
Barry Weissler, one of the show's producers, told the newspaper, "Assuming
both sides are comfortable, then this will be a win-win for both parties."
Though studio sources feel otherwise about Conner's talent. They tell the
Post her singing isn't bad, her dancing needs some work, but she just plain
can't act.
It seems like Conner will have to work a little harder before she sees her
name in lights on Broadway.
