Angelina Adopts... Alone!
Hollywood superstar Angelina Jolie has applied to adopt a toddler from Vietnam, but her lover Brad Pitt isn't listed on the forms!
Confirming the adoption, Vu Duc Long, the Director of International Child Adoption at Vietnam's Ministry of Justice, said: "Ms. Jolie applied on Wednesday to adopt a boy through an international child adoption organization based in Vietnam. She has asked to adopt a boy and the adoption will be in Ms. Jolie's name as we understand she is not formally married to Mr. Pitt."
The boy will be Jolie's fourth child. She already has an adopted son from Cambodia, a girl from Ethiopia and a 10-month-old baby girl of her own with Pitt. Mr. Vu confirmed that the child would come from the Tam Binh orphanage near Ho Chi Minh City and added: "The process will take about four months. It is the same for everyone and there is no favoritism for famous applicants.
Jolie filed the papers on Wednesday, Feb. 28.
