Britney & Kevin Settle Divorce
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have officially ended their marriage.
“After five hours at a four-way session with Kevin Federline, his lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan and his partner Jim Simon, along with Britney Spears and her attorney, Laura Wasser, the parties signed an agreement which was a global settlement on all issues in their marriage and child custody,” a rep from Kevin's camp tells Star.
“At one point, Kevin went down for a smoke and Britney followed him outside. They had a 15 minute conversation then they went back upstairs. They met at Laura Wasser’s office (in Century City).”
According to one report, Kevin will take $1 million and will share joint, 50/50 physical custody of their two children. However, a source close to Kevin tells Star: “The $1 million, 50/50 deal isn’t true.”
Britney was first to arrive to the meeting in her black Escalade and with her bodyguard. Kevin arrived in a white Yukon about 20 minutes later. With him were the couple’s sons Sean, 18 mos. and Jayden, 6 mos., and two bodyguards.
Britney filed for divorce Nov. 7, 2006 after two years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences.
