STAR EXCLUSIVE: "Larry Birkhead is one step closer to bringing Dannielynn home!"

April 20, 2007

Larry Birkhead can bring his baby Dannielynn to the U.S. -- for good -- as early as next week!

A source familiar with a custody hearing in the Bahamas this morning, where Birkhead, Howard K. Stern and Virgie Arthur were present, tells Star, “The judge ruled that Larry can take his daughter to the U.S. next week, as long as all the paperwork is in order.” That includes “correcting the birth certificate to show that Larry is the father, and not Howard,” and “getting Dannielynn a U.S. Passport.”

Says the source, “all of that is in the works and should be ready by next week, and Larry can bring his baby home!” Sources tell Star that Birkhead may bring his baby home to Louisvillle, Ky., where his immediate family resides, and is also considering making a home in L.A.

Birkhead will return to the Bahamas in early June for another custody hearing, where the judge will rule whether Virgie Arthur, Anna’s mother, has any claim to seeking visitation of Dannielynn and to becoming her guardian in the event of Larry's death.
