Katie Couric's Ratings Woes
In a business that is based on TV ratings, things are not looking good for Katie Couric.
According to The New York Post, more and more people are tuning Couric out and in this case the proof is in the numbers.
The paper goes on to say that the CBS Evening News, which Couric solely anchors, dipped to a mere 5.9 million viewers — making it the first time in the broadcast's history the slow has plunged below 6 million.
To make matters worse for the former Today host, prior to her arrival, fill-in anchor Bob Schieffer gave the Tiffany Network a nice boost.
CBS officials have reportedly said they will continue to have patience with Couric and give the broadcast at least a year to find its footing.
