Hilary Clinton Spoofs The Sopranos
What characteristic does Hilary Clinton have that isn't normally attributed to presidential candidates? (Hint: it's not that she's a woman!)
The girl has a sense of humor! The former First Lady released an online video on Tuesday spoofing the infamous Sopranos season finale. The video, featuring the Senator and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, mirrors the diner scene from the Sopranos finale and even includes a cameo from actor Vince Curatola, who played New York mob boss Johnny "Sack" Sacramoni in the series.
The video was meant to reveal Senator Clinton's presidential campaign song, but just like the Sopranos finale, it cut to black before anything was revealed!
Viewers were sent to Clinton's campaign Web site see that Celine Dion's You and I was chosen as the candidate's official campaign song. In true democratic fashion, the song picked by the public after a month-long online contest in which over 200,000 votes were cast!
The other songs in the contest included The Temptations' "Get Ready," The Police's "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic," and the Smash Mouth version of "I'm a Believer." But it was Canadian-born Celine Dion's song that racked up the most votes — something Hilary hopes to do next year!
