Eva & Tony's Dream Wedding
Eva Longoria and Tony Parker had the wedding of their dreams on July 7, 2007 in Paris. After a civil ceremony on Friday, the Desperate Housewives star wed the basketball pro in a Roman Catholic ceremony on Saturday at the Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois Church, located across from the Louvre Museum and frequented by French royalty in centuries past.
Longoria chose an Angel Sanchez mermaid gown made of silk wool with silk metallic embroidery, a scoop back and a long train. Parker wore French menswear label De Fursac, which he also models for.
A reception followed at a 17th century castle, Chateau of Vaux le Vicomte, southeast of Paris. Celebrity guests including Mario Lopez, Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Nicolette Sheridan, Ryan Seacrest, Sheryl Crow and Jessica Alba were all on hand to celebrate!
Longoria gifted her 150 female guests with bracelets from Van Cleef & Arpels (right, center). The Sweet Alhambra bracelets are crafted in 18K yellow gold on a delicate chain with a miniature mother-of-pearl clover charm and retail at $700.
Longoria herself was blinged out in a Piaget Possession wedding band featuring two rows of 80 brilliant-cut diamonds, separated by a row of 27 square-cut diamonds for a total of 107 breathtaking jewels. Parker has a matching Possession band, and each ring (right, bottom) was engraved with a special inscription in French.
