The Beckham's Wild All-American Family Weekend!
Fresh off the plane from Britain on Thursday, the Beckham family's first weekend in Los Angeles caused a paparazzi frenzy!
After settling into their $22 million dollar Beverly Hills home, David and Victoria Beckham hosted a small housewarming party for friends on Friday night. Then Saturday was all about family, as David and Posh packed the kids in her limited-edition Bentley convertible for a trip to Toys 'R' Us on La Cienega Boulevard.
Between their three sons — Brooklyn, 8, Romeo, 4, and Cruz, 2 — mom and dad spent over $5,000 on merchandise. Among the items purchased were Legos, electronics, bikes and a miniature American flag, which Romeo waved as the family departed the store.
Later that evening mom and dad had dinner with their manager, American Idol's Simon Fuller, on the patio of the Chateau Marmont. The Spice Girl's NBC reality special, Victoria Beckham: Coming to America, premieres Monday night at 8 pm/ET.
Finally, on Sunday David stopped at the California coffee shop, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, while on his way to check out his home away from home: the soccer stadium at the Home Depot Center in Carson, which is where he will spend most of his days training with his new teammates, the L.A. Galaxy soccer team. Ticket sales for the New York Red Bulls games on Aug. 18 have already spiked, according to a Red Bulls rep.
Welcome to America!
