David Beckham Gets Reality Show! Plus: TomKat Welcomes Posh & Becks
Soccer star David Beckham is following his wife Victoria (Posh Spice) to TV land. Beckham will star in a 13 episode series called David Beckham's Soccer USA, produced by American Idol creator Simon Fuller.
British TV personality Natalie Pinkham will host Beckham's new show which will feature in-game action and behind-the-scenes footage. The show will document Becham's first season with the Los Angeles Galaxy. It is set to premiere next Wednesday on Fox Soccer Channel.
Meanwhile, David's wife Victoria's NBC special, Victoria Beckham: Coming to America, only drew in about 5 million viewers. However, according to a Star poll, 48% of our readers tuned in and 43% percent those readers liked Posh more after watching the special. Interestingly enough, 61% of the Star respondents said Victoria should not get her own reality show. Posh will just have to settle for living the lux life in Hollywood. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, along with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith, are throwing the Beckhams a "Welcome to America" party on Sunday, according to The New York Post.
