Goldie Hawn Back on TV!

Goldie Hawn is going back to her roots, starring on an ABC TV show called Leap. The show is based on the popular non-fiction book Leap! What Will We Do with the Rest of Our Lives? by Sara Davidson.

Though Hawn, 60, has spent the past 30 years dabbling in movies, this show will be a chance for her to revisit her golden days as a TV star. Hawn was first discovered on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In, and later played a ditzy blonde in a variety of shows.

Friends' creator Marta Kauffman is a Hawn's partner on the production of Leap, and is expected to pen the pilot episode.

"What Marta and Goldie did was take the simple premise of the book and put together this really insightful look at how two different generations deal with the big moments we all face in our lives," ABC entertainment chief Stephen McPherson said.
