Heath & Michelle Split!
Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams have split up, according to reports. The couple, who met in 2004, have a 23-month-old daughter together, Matilda.
"It started as a fairy tale romance because there was so much chemistry and they're both such young, good-looking people with fantastic futures," a source close to Heath tells Star. "But they're both artists who are always looking to grow and expand and explore. In their journey, they did not grow together, they grew apart. They've been fighting for well over six months. They really tried to make it work. But sometimes two people are better apart."
Williams is best known for her role on Dawson's Creek. She met Ledger when they co-starred in Brokeback Mountain.
