Jennifer Hudson Signs On For Sex and the City

American Idol contestant-turned-Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson has joined the cast of Sex and the City: The Movie. The Dreamgirls star will play the assistant to Sarah Jessica Parker's character, Carrie Bradshaw, in the film which begins shooting next week in New York.
