George Clooney's Next Role: Newspaper Editor?
George Clooney is in talks to guest edit the Independent newspaper. If the deal goes through, Clooney would edit the paper for a day next year, possibly in March, MediaGuardian reports.
The Ocean's Thirteen actor, who has been campaigning against the genocide in Darfur, would be working to assist the Africa charity Product Red. Clooney has lobbied the UN about the violence in Darfur and was featured in an Independent profile last year.
In the past, Bono has guest edited the paper and fashion designer Giorgio Armani guest designed it.
