Britney Update: She Goes Tanning After Losing The Kids! Plus: Her License Woes!
Britney Spears has reportedly surrendered custody of her two sons, Sean Preston, 2 and Jayden James, 1, earlier than ordered by a Los Angeles judge on Monday. According to X17 photo agency, Britney dropped off the boys with Kevin Federline's people shortly after learning she had lost custody. Britney took the boys through a Carl's Jr. fast food drive-thru on the way to drop off the kids.
After she was kid-free, Britney reportedly headed to Epitome tanning salon in Bel Air and then did some shopping in Beverly Hills boutiques like Bulgari. Britney also paid a visit to the Department of Motor Vehicles office in Van Nuys, where she applied for a California driver's license.
"Britney is still in the process of getting a license and hasn't finished it yet," Jan Mendoza, Information Officer at the DMV, tells Star. "She is very, very close. She just has to finish up a couple of things in order to get the license."
Mendoza says, "She will either be a fully licensed driver or have a learner's permit. If she doesn't have proof of an out of state license, she would have to take the driving test and be issued a learner's permit. If she can show her out-of-state license, she would not have to take the driving portion of the test. Instead, she would be issued a temporary license that allows her to drive and would get her new license in the mail. Britney has taken the written test and has gotten her picture taken. At this time, Britney has nothing. She is considered an unlicensed driver."
Brit was also spotted at the Peninsula Hotel and the Beverly Hills Hotel Monday.
