Britney Spears: She's Got Her License -- And A Hit Song?
Britney Spears was finally granted a valid California driver's license on Tuesday. For now Spears has an interim license but a real one will follow in the mail. According to a DMV rep, Britney was photographed and fingerprinted on Monday and passed her written exam back in April.
Britney's camp will head back to court on Wednesday for a hearing on who gets custody of her sons with ex Kevin Federline.
In a Star reader poll, 89% of respondents said the judge made the right decision when he took the kids away from Britney on Monday and 80% said the judge should have acted sooner. Asked if they think Britney cares that she lost custody, 60% of Star readers said no and 82% felt she needs to enter rehab.
There is some good news for Britney though, her song, "Gimme More," has topped the Soundscan Singles chart, which is based on digital downloads.
