Showdown! Jen's Christmas With The Pitts
How about this for a dose of holiday stress: A Christmas at the Pitt family home in Missouri with Brad and Angelina, his folks — and Brad's ex, Jennifer Aniston!
Not a good idea? If you're Angie, totally outrageous! Insiders tell Star that Angelina went postal after learning that Brad's mom, Jane, had invited Jen (they're still close friends) to join them for the holiday — and Brad found himself caught in the middle of a nasty showdown.
"It's an awkward situation," a source tells Star.
But Jane and Bill Pitt have been close with their former daughter-in-law ever since she started dating Brad in 1998, and they don't appear ready to let a little thing like their 2005 divorce — or his four kids with Angelina — get in the way.
"Jane is still very close to and friendly with Jen," the source tells Star. "And that's causing big trouble for Brad."
The actor, who turns 44 on Dec. 18, seems trapped in the simmering feud between Angie, his beloved mom, Jane, and Jen, the ex he still cares about.
While Jen's rep says our story is untrue, the source tells Star, "It's a tough spot to be in. Brad feels he has to respect the relationship between his mom and Jennifer."
