Marie Osmond: Getting Her Own Show
Marie Osmond just failed to win on Dancing with the Stars, but the popular contestant has landed her own daytime talk show!
"Marie makes the perfect talk show hostess because people feel like they can relate to her," casting director and producer Ron Scott tells Star. "She has experienced her own share of ups and downs and hopes to inspire viewers."
The one-hour syndicated talk fest, to be named The Marie Osmond Show, is set to debut in fall 2008. Her first guest? An insider is betting on her pal and mentor Larry King.
