Cage's New Flick Strikes Holiday Box Office Gold

Nicolas Cage's National Treasure: Book of Secrets debuted in the #1 spot at the box office, raking in $65.4 million during its five day Christmas weekend debut. In addition to Ghost Rider, the new action-adventure flick is Cage's second film this year to open above $40 million.

In second place, Will Smith's I Am Legend grossed $47.6 million, making its 12 day total a whooping $150.9 million.

Coming in third was Alvin and the Chipmunks, which surprised critics by becoming the top family film of the holiday season, already pulling in a total $94.4 million.

Charlie Wilson's War and Sweeney Todd, rounded out the Top 5.
