Update: It's A Boy For Christina Aguilera!
Christina Aguilera, 27, welcomed a son into the world on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 10:05 pm.
Christina's rep reportedly said, "Christina and Jordan are proud to announce the birth of their son Max Liron Bratman. He is a beautiful, healthy baby boy! Mom is resting and doing well!"
Max is 6 lbs., 2 oz. and 20.5 inches.
There had been several reports that Christina gave birth on Friday -- the same day Nicole Richie had her daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden with Good Charlotte band member Joel Madden at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
This is a first child for the "Back to Basics" singer and her husband of two years, music executive Jordan Bratman, whom she wed in Napa Valley during sunset in November 2005.
Though Christina never confirmed the sex of the child, she did hint that she was going to have a boy when she had a blue-themed baby shower in November.
Christina posted a special message to her fans on her Web site, christinaaguilera.com.
"Today is a very joyful and special day for Jordan and I as we welcome our first son into this world," wrote Christina.
"In honor of our love for each other and our growing family, I have put together a special video for the song 'Save Me From Myself' off my Back to Basics album. This video is very dear to me as it includes actual footage from our personal wedding video! Just a little something to say 'thank you' for your undying love and support. It is in no small part because of you that I live such a blessed and wonderful life!"
