Update: Nicole Richie Gives Birth! Plus: She Shares Maternity Ward With Christina Aguilera!
Nicole Richie, 26, has given birth! "Harlow Winter Kate Madden was born Friday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and weighed 6 lbs., 7 oz," Nicole's publicist told Star.

“My daughter is in Cedars having a baby today and she has seen both Christina and Nicole in the Labor and Delivery department,” Kathleen Forester told Star exclusively.
“Nicole has security outside her door. My daughter doesn’t know if Christina has security there. She also said all the nurses are really on edge. It’s so crazy in there I can’t even get to my daughter! They won’t let me in! There are police everywhere.”
Nicole was taken to the hospital late Thursday night. The baby's daddy, Joel Madden, his twin brother Benji and Nicole's mom, Brenda, and her dad, Lionel were all on hand for the big event.
Nicole's aunt, Deborah Richie, flew into L.A. today from the East Coast to be with the family during this happy occasion. "Everyone's excited. The time has come," a source tells Star.
Nicole, 26, and Joel, 28, lead singer of the band Good Charlotte, started dating in December 2006. On August 2 of last year, The Simple Life star confirmed she was pregnant to Diane Sawyer on ABC's Primetime Live.
Nicole, who was jailed last August for a total of 82 minutes for a DUI conviction, has seemed to turn her life around. Nicole and Joel launched their charity, The Richie-Madden Children's Foundation, last month. "They are both really excited. I think Nicole will be a good mom," says the source.
