Star Exclusive: David Spade's Secret Love Child!
David Spade's statement to TMZ.com for their "exclusive" — posted at 1:35 a.m. on January 16 — about his having a baby with 22-year-old Playboy Playmate Jillian Grace will look mighty familiar to Star magazine readers this week. That's because it's actually a Star exclusive that we closed on Monday, Jan. 14, for our new issue. And Spade's statement ["If it is true that I am the father of her child, then I will accept responsibility"] was given directly to Star on that Monday by David's publicist, Meredith O'Sullivan at 42West, a week and a half after our first request for a response. As well, while TMZ was unable to reach Jillian Grace for a comment, that wasn't a problem for Star. The full story is in our new issue this week.
