Brit's Monday Night Fight! Plus: Her Parents Visit
Britney Spears had another turbulent night Monday, just hours after Barbara Walters made an announcement that the singer was seeking treatment for her "mental issues."
The evening started with Britney and her pal Sam Lutfi (who had reached out to Walters on Brit's behalf) returned to Brit's home after a drive around Beverly Hills. The pair appeared to be arguing as Brit jumped out of Sam's Mercedes around 6 pm.
A teary-eyed Britney walked in circles outside the gates of her home with her dog London in hand and eventually sat on a curb and told the paparazzi, "I'm fine. I'm ... having a nice time with my dog."
Brit then teamed up with a photog who drove her to Ralph's supermarket and then back to her home. In the meantime, Britney's mother, Lynne, and father, Jaime, entered the gates at Britney's home. Brit's on-again-off-again boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, then showed up at the house. At first he was denied entry but Britney later met up with him and the two took a drive around Los Angeles.
After driving around for an hour-and-a-half, and even dealing with a flat tire, Brit and Adnan returned to the mansion around 11 pm. Adnan left and Britney spent some time inside with her mother. Her father, Jaime, had already left the home.
At around 1:30 am, Britney and Lynne ventured out to Longs Drugs with Sam Lutfi. Brit seemed to be in good spirits on the shopping trip, even waving to photographers from the car.
On the bright side, court papers released Monday say Britney has been granted the right to telephone her kids.
