John Mayer to Ex: Leave Me Alone!
Celebrity blogger extraordinaire John Mayer, who has not one but two Weblogs, posts daily musings on topics such as music, cars and food, but rarely does he open up the forum to discuss his love life -- until now. Earlier this week, while killing time at an airport, the singer -- who ended a year-long relationship with Jessica Simpson last August and rebounded by briefly dating Friday Night Light's Minka Kelly -- penned this letter about a former love and posted it with the title "Love, By John Mayer" for the world to see. Dear Ex Lover,
Perhaps you didn't understand the last time I told you to stop contacting me, so I'll do my best to spell it out for you. I do not wish to have you in my life anymore. I don't know how much more clear I can be about it. It would serve you best to move on with your life and find someone who can put up with you, because I'm done trying.
I hope this is enough closure for you.

P.S. If you need me, you know how to find me. While he asks readers not to "read too far into this," it's impossible not to with his connections to Jessica and Minka as well as Jennifer Love Hewitt. Hmmm... Wonder which lovely lady was the inspiration.

honestly, do you think ANYONE is chasing this guy around? Jessica & Jennifer both have men in their lives (JLH is engaged) so why would they be chasing him? He seem to be a bit of an ego manic to me, maybe it's a publicity stunt? In the end who cares about this guy?

This guy is really pretentious and desperately self-important at the best of times - the fact that it's crossed over from his work to his personal life just shows how insecure he must be on many levels.

For being such a great songwriter he isn't to good about writing goodbye letters. He tells the lady to leave him alone but then P.S's with You know where to find me...? Honestly if he didn't want anything to do with her he shouldn't perpetuate hope for her to find him if she needs him, seriously, completely contadicts the original point of the letter in the first place TOOL!!!
