Halle's Baby Name Revealed!
Time to go crazy with the monogramming: Halle Berry has announced her new baby's name!
The actress revealed that her baby girl is named Nahla Ariela. As Star was the first to report, Nahla was born on Sunday morning, March 16.
"Nahla" is an Arabic word that means "a drink of water," while "Ariela" means "lioness of God." Are you sensing a Lion King theme?
Though Berry is not married to the baby's father, Gabriel Aubry, Nahla will take his name.

I am just concerned about the fact that a lot of these posts hate the name Nahla Ariela, because it is arabic, and that people have brought up Halle's "half-breed" status...just what "breeds" make up her "half-breed" status? Last I checked, Halle is of the HUMAN breed..as is her guy...the color of the skin, or slant of eyes, or curl of hair, do not make a different "breed". We are humans, not dogs or horses...and as for the name, it's beautiful, and elegant, and not really all that bizarre. Try Precious on as your name. Maybe Princess. Or Apple. How about @...someone in China actually tried to name there child @!! How do you even SAY that? I think that people don't always think about the impact their childs name might have on the child, but for the most part, normal parents think long and hard about the names and meanings of said names, for their children. I think Halle did just that. So get over it all you haters, it's not your child, or your name..Jeez

I think the name is beautiful! I wanted my nephew and his girl friend to name their daughter Nyala. It is very different and unique. GOD bless the parents and the new baby.
