Richie Sambora Puts Daughter in Danger!
Richie Sambora, who has long battled the bottle, was arrested for DUI — and his daughter was in the car!
The Bon Jovi guitarist was arrested in Laguna Beach, Calif. last night, Star has confirmed. Sgt. Jason Kravetz of the Laguna Beach PD tells us that Richie — who did two stints in rehab last year — was pulled over at about 10:50pm because he was weaving within the traffic lanes on the Pacific Coast Highway. When the officer approached Richie's black Hummer, he smelled alcohol and asked him to step out of his vehicle and performed field sobriety tests. Shortly after 11pm, Richie was taken into custody for driving under the influence of alcohol, was booked and released at about 4:00am.
Just your typical celebrity DUI arrest, right? Wrong! TMZ.com reports that Richie had three passengers in the car — a woman and two juveniles, including his 10-year-old daughter Ava! Ava, whose mother is Richie's ex-wife Heather Locklear, was driven home by the unidentified woman.
If Richie is found to have been driving drunk, he could be criminally charged with child endangerment.
Heather also made headlines this month when a caller called 911 and said the actress may be suicidal. Her rep later said Heather was "fine" and never requested medical aid.
Richie has to appear at Harbor Superior Court in Newport Beach, Calif. on May 7.
Ken Sunshine, a spokesperson for Bon Jovi, had no comment.

seriosly, he is not the bad guy. Like many people siad,, every celeb gets taken over by the paperatzi and the press at some time!! He is normal... and can you tell me uv never made a mistake?

If any of us "ordinary people" did that, we'd be in jail in a heartbeat. For the record, people who work, live by most norms and values that I know are "extraordinary people." Ritchie has a drinking problem. I think that's why they broke up. He needs to get help. Until he gets help he should not be able to take his little girl. I wish him the best.
