Wedding Bells for Beyoncé & Jay-Z?
Are music's power couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé finally hitched? Although reps for the couple haven't confirmed a wedding, it sure looks that way from all of the movement Friday at Jay's multimillion-dollar duplex penthouse in NYC's Tribeca neighborhood — just days after they were granted a marriage license.
On Friday, workers were busy making preparations for the ceremony, which had an all-white theme. A white tent was erected on Jay-Z's balcony and workers carried in white chairs and flowers (white lilies and long-stemmed roses). A white couch was brought out onto the balcony and three small white tables were set up.
"[Beyoncé] picked out the color," says Amy Vongpitaka of Amy's Orchids, who provided the flowers for the event after getting a call from the couple's wedding planner days before the ceremony. "The designer worked with her a lot, but she knew exactly what she wanted... It looks like heaven."
The wedding was reportedly an intimate affair with only 30 guests celebrating with the couple, who have been dating since recording the song "'03 Bonnie and Clyde" together in 2002. Celebrities seen arriving at Jay-Z's building include Destiny Child's Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland, Gwyneth Paltrow and her hubby Chris Martin as well as Beyoncé's mother, father and sister Solange.
