I still remember a photo of a very young Lourdes, sitting terrified, sobbing, all alone in a limousine, with paparazzi shooting their flashes from their cameras into the limousine. Where was Madonna? Shopping, down the street. I couldn't believe the picture. If anyone else did this, children's services would have taken their kids away until an investigation could be completed. I don't think Madonna's an icon at all; I think she's a questionable parent, at the least. And her name is Louise, not Madonna, right?

Madonna IS STILL an Icon and she is doing the best she can as a mother, wife and entertainer. People would judge her no matter what she did just because she is in the public eye. Give her a break cause I can't imagine a world without her and all that she has brought to american culture.

I don't like that Madonna won't let her daughter watch tv because "it's so bad," but when she performs on video and tv, MY kids are watching! Kind of a double-standard there, don't ya think?

Madge did well on her compliments to Ms. Angie Jolie. Adopting is such a blessed gift. I only hope you you are sincere cuz it does seem the adoption deal is for the media eye.

Madonna used to be an icon, larger than life. Now she's just a scrawny aging lady trying to hold on to the good times. Honey, you are not British and you are no longer interesting either. Focus on being a mom to your two children and your African accessory.
