New body... new husband?

Mariah Carey and new beau Nick Cannon have tied the knot, according to several reports. And now a family member claims the wedding rumors are true! "He called us and told us all about it. We are happy for him. If that is what he wants then we are happy for him," Linda Cannon, who identified herself as family member, has told E!

Talk of the couple's engagement broke early Wednesday and later came word that the musicians wed at Mariah's home in the Bahamas that day.

Latina magazine first broke the story, claiming a source close to Nick spilled the beans that the new couple tied the knot in a secret ceremony yesterday. The small ceremony was "very impulsive," according to the source.

Mariah's kept her love life under the radar since separating from music exec Tommy Mottola in 1997, though she was linked to Derek Jeter and music executive Mark Sudack. Mariah dated Mark for three years and they split up just weeks ago.

Last fall, Nick proposed to Victoria's Secret model Selita Ebanks — on the JumboTron in Times Square — after a very brief courtship. They split soon after. In fact, the engagement ring that Nick presented Selita is said to look remarkably similar to the one Mariah was wearing over the weekend at the Tribeca Film Festival.
