Oprah Tops Forbes' Celebrity 100
Forbes released its annual Celebrity 100 list yesterday, ranking the most powerful names in Hollywood based on their salaries and the media attention they received throughout the year. Although she seems to be losing her footing recently, Media titan Oprah Winfrey reigned supreme at the top of the list for a third time, banking an astounding $275 million. The only name on the list to make more money than Oprah was Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling. The writing wizard made $300 million this year, but with less media influence she only ranked at No. 9. Supercouple Brad Pitt and about-to-pop Angelina Jolie also battled it out at the top of the list, with Angie coming out the victor at No. 3. Brad trailed behind her with $20 million at No. 10. The list wasn't completely without surprises, though. One of the biggest shockers was the number of teens who managed to crack their way into the top 100. Fifteen-year-old Miley Cyrus dominated teen set at No. 35. Her many projects, including the wildly successful Hannah Montana, earned her an impressive $25 million. Miley's touring buddies, the Jonas Brothers (who were in NYC yesterday for their movie premiere), came in at No. 89. Several High School Musical stars are also climbing the ranks, with the stinky Zac Efron at No. 92 and recent headliner Ashley Tisdale following closely behind at No. 94. Both performers made almost $6 million each. Even The Hills star Lauren Conrad made an appearance on the list at No. 97. The Laguna Beach native's $1.5 million may not seem too impressive, but her media popularity managed to boost her above some heavy-hitters like Vanessa Williams and Tina Fey. Yeah- When Elvis used to give a donation to charity, he refused to let his advisors take a tax deduction. He felt that if it was truly a charity, he shouldn't benefit in any way !

Oprah Winfrey, is by far the most powerfull woman in Hollywood/America. You don't have to like her... But u can NOT deny that she is a hard worker, with a net worth of $2.7 billion she still gets up at 4:30 am 6 days a week!!! SHE MADE IT...

Oprah thinks she is the shit! I think she is nothing. Hollywood shouldn't care what she thinks because she is racist anyway! She gives to other countries but not her own. She builds schools for only black girls, how fair is that? What would she say if a powerful white star built a school for only white girls?

As far as talk shows go, I prefer Ellen as well. I used to like watching Oprah but it changed and totally lost my interest.

The Middle East has figured out a way to take over our country without raising a gun or a finger. Take one Muslim, discard the robe and headgear, polish him up to look like a Hollywood celebrity, get an endorsement from someone like Oprah, have him "join" a "Christian" church, and voila! Steps right in to take over and no one was the wiser.
