Heather Locklear in Treatment Program
After a rough few years, Heather Locklear is being treated for psychological issues at an Arizona medical facility. The TV golden gal has entered a facility to seek treatment for anxiety and depression, her rep confirms to Star. "Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression," said the rep in a statement. "She requested an in depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment. This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be released." Heather has been taking prescription pills to combat depression since she split with Richie Sambora in 2006, but she recently decided to seek inpatient treatment to get to the bottom of what has been troubling her. While she's being treated and Richie is touring with Bon Jovi, their 10-year-old daughter, Ava, is staying with family. Since Heather and Richie split, it's been one incident after another for Heather, who found major professional success on small screen shows like Melrose Place, Spin City and Dynasty. First, Richie briefly took up with her one-time friend Denise Richards, which has been making headlines again lately with Denise discussing it while promoting her reality show. Earlier this year, Heather's psychiatrist — after speaking to the star by phone — called 911 and claimed that she sounded intoxicated and suicidal. Shortly after, Richie was arrested on DUI charges while Ava was in the car. The one light in her life seems to be beau Jack Wagner — her former Melrose costar — whom she started dating in 2007 — though he's had his own relationship trouble separating from his ex-wife, soap star Kristina Malandro Wagner, many times during their long history together.
