BET Awards Honor Music & Film Stars
Alicia Keys and Chris Brown were among those honored at the 8th Annual BET Awards, held at Los Angeles' Shrine Auditorium on June 24.
In addition to being named Best Female R&B Artist, Alicia brought down the house with her hit "Teenage Love Affair." Then, what started as the Alicia Keys show soon turned into a '90s flashback as En Vogue came out to sing "Hold On."
But that wasn't all! Sisters With Voices (SWV) then joined Alicia for a rendition of their '90s hit "Weak." And last, but certainly not least, the remaining members of TLC (Chilli and T-Boz) performed "Waterfalls".
The awards, hosted by D.L. Hughley also featured performances by Usher and Ne-Yo. Chris Brown, who took home the Best Male R&B Artist award, sung "Take You Down" and his current smash hit "With You."
On the music side, Kanye West, Missy Elliott, UGK and Lil Wayne also took home awards.
In the acting categories, Halle Berry and Denzel Washington took home trophies.
