Michelle Williams Breaks Her Silence!
Never one to bask in the limelight, Michelle Williams became even more reclusive after the January death of her ex Heath Ledger. But with two films debuting this fall — Synecdoche, New York and Wendy and Lucy — the actress opens up to the New York Times about living in the public eye, taking some time off and the hobby she hopes to take up.
On how her personal and professional life overlaps:
"It's hard to talk about work without talking about things that are personal. Work is personal. I don't want to talk about my personal life, but it's on my mind, and it's in my work."
On feeling burnt out:
"I'm going to take a year off. I think I stopped feeling creative a while ago, and I'm just realizing it now. ... When I work again maybe it should be a comedy. I've always had a tendency for darker, more lifelike material. I think I had this sense that important things are heavy things. I don't know if that's true any more."
On life in the spotlight:
"It feels so surreal. How is this my life? When did it get so out of control? ... I've started to shut down, but I also know I can't let it dictate my life."
On her plans for the future:
"I want to humble myself in front of a task like embroidery. I like how physical work can really free your mind."

God bless you Michelle and your daughter Matilda. Even though Heath is not here now you can look into your daughters eyes and see him. I have never met her but seen pic. in Tabloids. She looks exactly like Heath and that was a gift from God. Good luck on your journey and you will be in our prayers and Heath forever in our hearts.
