Téa Seeks Counseling After Hubby's Sex Addict Admission

September 24, 2008

Depressed and upset, Téa Leoni is dealing with husband David Duchovny's sex addiction through counseling.

Star has learned that as David gets treatment for sex addiction at The Meadows in Arizona, his wife of 11 years, Téa, has been attending therapy sessions to cope with her discovery that the Californication star had been cheating on her for years.

"Téa has been getting professional help to try to get past this crisis," reveals a friend of the actress, who has two children — Madelaine, 11, and Kyd, 6 — with David.

Another source adds: "Téa's so sad and depressed. She's been in such a slump."

Read more about Téa and David — including the ultimatum she gave him — in the Oct. 6 issue of Star.

Talk back: Do you think David and Téa will be able to salvage their marriage? Should they? Weigh in.

Why she would want to, I wouldn't know.

I'm here for tea leoni because I understand what she had been through rough time with her husband and personal things. I suggest for tea leoni that she had a long talk to her husband and ask him why he would do this to her if he love her so much. Wasn't everything enough for him? She should not forgive her friend by having her husband's kids behind her back. What kind of friend is she?

Salvage the marriage? They could, they might, but probably not .... you have to be super strong to do it ... the chances are about 18%. For one thing, they might not really want to anymore, either of them He won't be able to stand the watchful eyes and she won't be able to stand the new role of knowing and watching for all the signs. Too difficult to rebuild trust - but possible.

get rid of his ass. He is a sicko. Looks like he come from a different planet

Leave that bastard. In order to get rid of an addiction you have to get rid of the cause. Castrate the asshole. That would be a cure for sex addiction.

I read somewhere that he was in porno before she married him. If that's true, the writing was already written in ink.

Isn't David the guy in the Viagra commercials? What went wrong? Wrong house?

Gail Gray that has to be one of the crulest comments, to say that David does not love his kids.

No matter the situation, wether he cheated on his wife or not, wether their marriage will be salvaged or not, one thing I am positive on David will always have love for his kids, and will always be part of his life.
