Whitney's The Hills Spin-off to Debut in '09
Step aside Lauren Conrad!
The Hills star Whitney Port, LC's friend from their days as Teen Vogue interns, has landed her own show.
MTV announced that The City will debut early next year and focus on Whitney's move from her hometown of Los Angeles to New York to pursue a career in fashion. She'll have a job working for fashionista Diane Von Furstenberg.
"I am thrilled and honored to be in New York City, not only working for one of the most renowned fashion designers," said Whitney, "but to be able to mature as a young woman both professionally and personally."
On the personal side, Whitney's best friend from her past will appear in the series as well as a guy she's crazy about.

i love the show the city i think its so good.....i dont think heidi and spencer should get there own show cause no one would watch and whitney only did it cause she moved to new york heidi and spencer are part of the hills we have a hills ,city we dont need a vegas or something silly like the beach!!!!!hahaha any ways love the city.....more than the hills but we need lauren <33

I think Whitney is one of the most "real" people on this show... She deserves it. I dont need anymore of Heidi and Spencer than I get on The Hills
