Mandy Moore Shuts Out Lesbian Mother
Mandy Moore has put mom Stacy on her Do Not Call list.
The pop star-actress has refused to speak to Stacy since March, when she left Mandy's dad, Don, for a woman!
"When Mandy's mom came out as a lesbian and took up with Claudette Laliberte, Mandy felt betrayed," a source tells Star. "She always believed that her mom and dad were happy and that her mom was straight. Now she has no idea what to believe and feels as if she's been lied to her entire life."
Their estrangement is now causing problems between Mandy and her soon-to-be-married older brother, Scott. According to the source, Mandy has warned him that if their mom is at his wedding later this year, she's not coming.

Mandy you only have one mother and one day you will regret not saying sorry or anything to her after she dies becuase death is forever and by then it will be too late to say anything again. you need to learn to forgive.

I think she has a right to be angered with her mother. If anything, atleast for leaving her husband for someone else. Through time things always get fixed.

No matter what the reason for divorce is,it's hard on the children, whether they are young or of adult age. I feel badly for everyone involved. I hope that Mandy and her mother can make amends. Life is too short. GOD BLESS them and I will keep them in my prayers.

What MANDY did is unforgivable. Refusing to communicate with your parents because they're not catering to your own desires and prejudices is childish and stupid. Her mother is an adult, with her own life and the right to be with whomever she loves.

I'm gonna hope that Mandy just needs some time to deal with the shock. What she's doing seems just so wrong to me, but I understand how difficult it must be to deal with. It's bad enough to come out, but to come out to your child after being married to an opposite sex partner? Major props to Mandy's mom for her guts and honesty. I hope this wound's healing is on the mend!
