Lindsay Lohan's Ugly Betty Gig Downsized
Lindsay Lohan's guest role on Ugly Betty was chopped down to four episodes instead of six thanks to some Mean Girls-style feuding with series star America Ferrera.
"Lindsay didn't do the last two episodes because America didn't like her and got her kicked off," a source tells the New York Post's Page Six.
In fact, while filming a scene in which Betty de-pants her high school nemesis (played by Lindsay), America brought her costar to tears. "They were rehearsing the scene and America wasn't supposed to pull Lindsay's pants down — but she did. Lindsay was so embarrassed, she started crying."
But it turns out Lilo's bad attitude may be to blame for trouble on the set. "Lindsay started off with people on the wrong foot, especially America, because she came late, was smoking, brought her girlfriend Samantha Ronson and did nothing to be a part of the team," a source tells Star.
"Everyone else makes it to the set on time and they expected the same from Lindsay — especially since she is supposed to be an experienced professional," adds the source.
Lindsay's rep confirmed the shortened stint but said the actress "had a lovely time." America's spokesperson said, "America is grateful to have had her on the show and thinks everyone should tune in to see how great the episodes are."

I like to watch Ugly Betty and wondered why they were scraping the bottom of the barrel by bringing Lohan on the show. Seemed that the show was moving in the wrong direction.

I think tht Lindsay is nothing more than a spoiled rotten former child star. She needs to have her attitude adjusted, and I think America gave her just waht she deserved. A little lesson in humility.

I think it's obvious why Lindsay was asked to leave early. Linds can get into a pair of skinny jeans, and America...well, look at the bright side, America, you can always work as J.Lo's or Beyonce's "booty double."
