Kanye West on Arrest: I Was Protecting My Personal Space
Kanye West has taken to his blog to present his side of Friday's altercation with a paparazzo that led to his arrest in England, saying he was merely "protecting his personal space."
"Here's what happened," says the award-winning rapper. "When I left the club, I was encountered by a thirsty paparazzi as usual. He felt he had more rights to my space than me, so I put my hand up to prevent him from taking my image. I didn't assault him but merely putting my hand up to cover his lens. My security yelled, 'Get the camera off him.' I guess in all the commotion the camera scraped his nose."
He adds: "It didn't matter that I wasn't charged or [that] I hadn't assaulted anyone. All that mattered was that I was arrested."
As reported, this was the second time in just over two months, that Kanye was arrested for tangling with the paparazzi. He was not charged in either incident. It's been a tough year plus for the rapper, whose beloved mother passed away almost a year to the date of his most recent arrest.

Right... so the other airport incident, when you grabbed the guy's camera (to get rid of evidence in my opinion) after you assualted the guy, was a one time event!? Give me a break... you hate the paparazzi and you beat on them. Guess any publicity is good publicity!?
