Kate Walsh Getting Divorced
Add this one to the list of very quick marriages!
Kate Walsh's husband, film exec Alex Young, has filed for divorce from the actress.
In the papers, he cites "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split and lists their date of separation as Nov. 22, 2008 — just before Thanksgiving.
Kate, who plays Addison on the Grey's Anatomy spin-off Private Practice, met Alex in Feb. 2007 and they were engaged just three months later. They tied the knot on Sept. 1, 2007 in Ojai, Calif. with a gospel choir singing and a handful of her Grey's costars in attendance.
"I know — I'm literally living the dream," Kate said right before her wedding. "But you know when you know. I was not expecting it, so it's kind of amazing."
Two weeks before their date of separation — on Nov. 8 — the couple looked very cozy at Tao Nightclub's three-year anniversary party at the Venetian Hotel and Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
"The couple remain on friendly terms and sincerely hope the media will respect their privacy during this difficult time," Kate's rep tells Star.

Kate, you're not really Addison Forbes Montgomery--you only play her on TV. Don't be so quick to run to the divorce court. Marital counseling can help.

Ah man! I honestly thought they would last longer than this. I am so disappointed. I was hoping for a baby from these two. Why do these people continually let us down.

Why is it shocking and sad news? The reality is that three months is not long to know someone at all; I'm sure someone will say, "Well, I know someone who their spouse for two months and they've been married 25 years." However, the reality is that you need to get to know someone before making a huge commitment like marriage.

unbelievable. what exactly is irreconcilable differences. these hollyweird stars should just stay single. 15 months of marraige. try 25 years of bliss, 2 kids and mounting bills plus college expenses. they haven't a clue
