Mariska Hargitay Recovering from Collapsed Lung
If you watched the Golden Globes, you may have noticed that Law & Order: SVU's Mariska Hargitay — who was nominated for best actress in a TV drama — wasn't in the audience. That's because she's ailing.
The actress has suffered a partially collapsed lung, her rep said Monday night.
He declined to say how it happened, but said that she will appear in all remaining episodes of her show this season.
As for that Golden Globe, Mariska — who plays the popular detective Olivia Benson — lost out to Anna Paquin who's in HBO's True Blood.
