David Cook & Kimberly Caldwell Split
Days after Star reported that Kimberly Caldwell was seen making out with another guy comes word that she and beau David Cook have split.
Kimberly's rep confirmed the split to the media, adding: "The couple remain good friends and being very private people, appreciate their privacy at this time."
On Jan. 8 we reported that just weeks after David checked out a $54,000 engagement ring for the fellow American Idol contestant, she was caught making out with bar manager Ryan Der at L.A.'s trendy ONE Sunset on Dec. 29.
"Everyone could see she was really letting loose," an insider told Star. "She and Ryan were laughing together as they threw back beers and vodka cocktails."
Before long, said the insider, Kim and Ryan were "grinding on the dance floor. They started playfully kissing, but that quickly led to long lip locks until they were full-on making out."
David, who was the Idol winner last season, announced that he was dating Kimberly back in May during an appearance on Regis & Kelly.
