Crazed Christian Bale Drops F-Bomb Nearly 40 Times
Can you say "anger management"?
Days before Dark Knight Christian Bale was accused of assaulting his 61-year-old mother last year, he had a major meltdown on the set of Terminator Salvation, threatening to stop production and beat up the director of cinematography. Now, there's an audio clip of the actor's profanity-laced tirade, during which he drops the f-bomb nearly 40 times — in four minutes!
While filming a scene for the thriller, which opens in May, cinematographer Shane Hurlbut apparently interfered with a shot that involved Christian and his costar Bryce Dallas Howard by walking behind Bryce to adjust a light. Suddenly Christian went crazy, calling Hurlbut every name in the book.
"I'm going to f---ing kick your f---ing ass if you don't shut up for a second," Christian screamed — in one of many insults.
Hurlbut, speaking in a quiet tone throughout the incident, apologized to the actor, but that didn't help. So director McG tried to calm down the star — suggesting that they halt production for a minute to compose themselves — but that just made the actor crazier. He demanded that they immediately do another take, but warned Hurlbut: "You do it one more time and I'm not walking on the set if you're still hired. You're a nice guy, but that don't f---ing cut it when you're bullsh--ting and f---ing around like this on set."
Then he spit at Hurlbut: "You and me are f---ing done professionally."
This must have been a heckuva week for the actor. Days after this July incident, he was arrested following an altercation with his mother and sister in London. The women claimed that he physically assaulted them — allegations that he denied. Christian was questioned by police but no charges were filed.

Well it must have been stressful on him, remember that. Being charged with assault (which I don't believe he did) and the pressure of the life sucking place we call "Hollywoood". Bale sincerely apologized to the guy too. I mean, ahven't we all lost it at one point in our lives?

This guy is an untalented jerk! I heard he was truly boring in real life. He obviously has serious issues, especially assaulting his 61-year-old MOTHER! You've gotten plenty of Great Breaks, Mr. Bale. Your talent in no way justifies this, because you're LAME. You are no Russell Crowe, and never will be!! Of course, Russell Crowe's behavior is NOTHING compared to this stuff.

Sticks and stones...you're a moron. Words, thoughts and actions should all be monitored, it's all about mindfulness, eventually it all catches up, good and bad. What a horrible world this would be if everyone acted like Christian Bale.

He's human. Sticks and stones...nobody got hurt except that he made a fool of himself. Too bad "regular people" road rage couldn't be recorded - his tantrum was nothing by comparison. Is there anybody out there that can honestly say that they have NEVER over-reacted and threw a fit?? I doubt it. He's a regular person who happens to act. Bad behaviour - YES - we've all said and done things we regret, thank God it doesn't get published for all to see!
