Exclusive: Michael Douglas' Son Evicted from Drug Den
Despite a ma$$ive trust fund, Michael Douglas' son has been evicted from his home for failure to pay rent. But, as Star has learned exclusively, even more shocking was the mountain of drug paraphernalia discovered by the landlord after he and a roommate fled the property!
In the Feb. 23 issue of Star — on sale now — we report that with an $80 million trust fund at his disposal, it comes as a shock that part-time actor and DJ Cameron Douglas has been given the boot from his leased home in L.A.'s Laurel Canyon. Classic signs of drug use were discovered in the home vacated by Cameron and his roommate, including glassine envelopes and home drug-testing kits, spoons used to heat a substance over the stove and filthy syringes and mirrors covered in white powder.
"A lot of drug activity must have been going on in there," says landlord Sky Reiss tells Star in an exclusive interview.
Cam -- who at 30 has been in an out of rehab and has multiple arrests for cocaine possession, among things -- moved in last March. When he stopped making rent payments, his famous father picked up the $4,200-a-month tab for "a couple of months," says Reiss. "But then his payments stopped too." So earlier this month an L.A. Sheriff arrived with an eviction notice.
"Cameron and his roommate ran out the back door, leaving Cam's girlfriend behind to deal with it," says Reiss.
And Reiss was left to deal with the "disgusting mess."
Pick up Star for the full story — including the startling photos of drug paraphernalia left in Cameron's home.

He's really a nice guy, drugs mess up your priorities, among other things.

There are families struggling to put food on their tables and heat in their homes while the rich spend their money on drugs - donate a portion of your money to families in need

I hope Cameron gets his act together or he's going to end up like his Uncle Eric: dead. It was nice for his father, Michael, to pick up the tab, but it's time to grow up. And to leave his girlfriend to deal with it! What a jerk!

Wow! That's the kind of boyfriend every girl wants, eh? One that will escape through the back door and leave YOU dealing with the cops!?

This is sad. I can not comprehend why ANYONE will ever try drugs. You see on the streets what they do to you. Drugs are the devil and the devil wants to destroy you. Don't try them. They say it can take that first try to get you hooked. To all the people out there, PLEASE don't ever try these horrible drugs. There are better things you can do. Don't put more money into drug dealers pockets. They don't give a crap about you. Look for help!

Ok, I don't get it. $80 million trust fund and he's renting. Why not just purchase a home. I wonder if is Dad realized that he back to doing drugs and stopped picking up the tab... What was his dad thinking setting up a huge trust fund to a "kid" that still does drugs??????
