DWTS' Melissa: Born to Dance!
Melissa Rycroft got her first taste of reality TV stardom long before getting dumped by Jason Mesnick on The Bachelor, then turning heads with partner Tony Dovolani on Dancing With The Stars.
Texas native Melissa, 26, strutted her stuff with pro football's famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders during 2006/2007, and appeared in that season of the CMT network series Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team.
But even before her reality TV debut, Melissa was the hottest hoofer at her high school. In fact, she was even First Lieutenant of the drill team during her 2001 senior year at Newman Smith High School in Carrollton, Texas. Check out Star's exclusive pics below!

ABC saw the perfect opportunity to up the ratings for DWTS by placing Melissa on the show as a fill-in for one the dancers. They knew Americans felt Melissa got a bum deal and the viewing public will sympathize with her and watch the show. As long as the viewers watch the show the rating goes up. It did not matter to ABC if Melissa was a professional dancer or not. Everybody knows that the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders are a professional dance troupe. They travel all over the world performing. Let's be real, do you think Melissa was ready to be stepmommy after only a couple of months with bachelor Bob. By the time the show aired, Melissa already had new boyfriend, so there was not love lost.
