Spike & Michelle: Summer Nuptials
Spike Jonze adores Michelle Williams’ daughter, Matilda, and he’s made the former Dawson’s Creek star smile again after the devastating January 2008 death of the tot’s dad, Heath Ledger.
So Michelle, 28, is happily planning to take a trip to the altar with her Being John Malkovich director beau of almost a year — as early as this summer, sources tell Star!
“They’re in love and absolutely thrilled with each other,” says a source. “They don’t see why they should wait much longer.”
Spike, 39, is already treating 3-year-old Matilda as if she’s officially his own. “Spike loves being with Matilda. He’s teaching her to skateboard and to ride a bike,” says a source.
“He never makes Michelle feel like taking care of her is a burden, because he truly thinks of them all as a family."

It's cool he's treating Matilda like his own but Michelle needs to make sure Matilda knows and remembers all the time who her dad was and how much he loved her. There's no replacing Heath.

It is great that her life is moving forward- I always thought she was such a cute girl- and I am glad her and Matilda are able to heal a little bit- she has handled Heaths death superbly and is raising her child superbly - she deserves to have happiness now.

She and Heath weren't together when he died, they'd been seperated for a while, and they were never married. So I think it's perfectly acceptable for her to marry now. Good luck to all of them.
-- Happy for them!
This appears to be a very happy couple from what we see in pictures, but of course we can't determine other peoples lives by seeing pictures of them. That being said I'm hoping they have the real thing especially for the sake of Matilda she's already lost one father so all the best to both of them.

Good foe Michelle. They make a cute couple. But its prob not even true. Even though they are not getting married anytime soon there still good for each other.

best of luck marriage is very difficult too soon to marry not long enough together. good luck tho.

Actually, I personally think they shouldn't have tons of kids. Also, I don't think I would marry only a little bit more than a year after my ex-boyfriend or husband died after he had my child! Then again, maybe she wants Matilda to grow up with someone who's not her dad, but is there for her because he loves her and her mom!

It's amazing to see Michelle smile like that again! It makes me believe in Happy Endings, once again!
