Calista & Harrison: Adopting!
Congrats to Harrison Ford and Calista Flockhart — they're expanding their happy family!
After seven years together, the pair got engaged over Valentine's Day weekend. Now they're trying to adopt a little girl, an insider tells Star.
Harrison, 66, already has four kids from his two previous marriages, and Calista, 44, is mom to adopted son Liam, 8.
"Harrison's begun the process of adopting Liam too," says the insider. "He's been a father figure to the boy almost since day one."

Oh No !! Harrison is old enough to be Calista's Father !! Not fair to the child...hope they will re-think this decision !!!

If Harrison and Calista want to adopt another child then it is their decision. They are both happy with raising Liam and that is their business alone if they want to add to their family. They both have raised Liam to be an intelligent and caring child. Harrison was 59 when the child was born so he will be 89 when he is 30. Harrison's parents lived reality healthy lives until their eighties and nineties. Is there a chance that Harrison might not live to see Liam get married? Yes, but just because a man fathers a child or raises a child in his twenties or thirties etc does not mean that he will be around to watch that child grow up to have a succesful career, raise children and get married. Anna Nicole Smith, Princess Di, Steve Irwin, Christopher Reeve, John Ritter and Heath Ledger all died at young ages and left behind children that they will not even get to see go to prom or graduate from high school. I say that you should enjoy the time you have with your loved ones. The reason Calista did not adopt until she was almost 40 was because she was solely devoted to only her career and did not have the time for raising a child. Yes some people might call her unconventional because she chose to adopt Liam as a single mother. Regardless, of course she told Harrison about it when she met him and he embraced the decision she made. Most men might not be in favor of raising a child again when they have raised children already, especially if the mom is a single mother by choice. Regardless, he fell in love with Calista and vice versa and accepted her son as well. They seem to be in love despite the age difference. Liam keeps him involved with life. They seem to be happy and I wish them all the best.

To the author: I can assure you that Calista would rather be referred to as "mom to son Liam" than "mom to adopted son Liam." And Liam? Guess which version he'd prefer? Show a little sensitivity.

Who ever bash on them are idiots. I dont care if there do it for show or luv, there givin a child a chance to b sumthing more then they are and i commend them for that and big deal if there old, that child will never have to worry bout money. :D
